Privacy policy
The Sacred Wars companion app (Beta) is a mobile game that does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create — your profiles, your progress, your stats — stays on your own device.
This policy explains how the Sacred Wars mobile game handles information during the open beta. It applies to the Android application distributed through Google Play under the package name com.sacredwars.game.
01 Information we collect
We do not collect any personal or user data. Sacred Wars has no user accounts, no login, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, or any other personal information, and the game does not gather this information in the background.
02 Data stored on your device
Sacred Wars saves your game data locally on your device so you can keep your progress between sessions. This includes the profiles you create (a chosen username and profile icon) and your gameplay statistics, such as wins, losses, experience, and campaign progress for each faction.
This information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to access it. It stays under your control at all times.
03 Game content downloads
When you have an internet connection, Sacred Wars downloads its game content — the card database that defines factions, units, and abilities — from our server at db.sacredwarsgame.com over a secure (HTTPS) connection. This is a one-way download of game data to your device.
This request sends no personal information about you. Like any request to any website, our server briefly sees the standard technical details needed to deliver the file (such as the network address the request came from), but we do not use this to identify, track, or profile you, and we do not build user records from it. If you are offline, the game uses a copy of this content bundled inside the app, so Sacred Wars is fully playable with no connection at all.
04 Notifications
Sacred Wars may show reminder notifications that are scheduled entirely on your device. These are local to your phone — no information is sent to us or to any third party to deliver them. On Android 13 and later, the app will ask your permission before showing notifications, and you can decline or change this at any time in your device settings.
05 Sharing your data
Because Sacred Wars does not collect any personal data, there is nothing to share. We do not sell, rent, or disclose user data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
06 Deleting your data
Your game data lives on your device, so you are always in control of it. You can remove all of it at any time by:
Clearing the app's storage or data in your device's Settings, or
Uninstalling Sacred Wars, which deletes all locally stored game data.
07 Children's privacy
Sacred Wars does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the game collects no personal data at all, there is no personal information about children (or anyone else) for us to hold.
08 Changes to this policy
Sacred Wars is in active development. As we add new features, our data practices may change, and we will update this policy to reflect them. If a future update introduces something that does collect data — for example, optional online accounts — we will revise this policy and our Google Play Data Safety information before that feature becomes available, and we will update the "last updated" date above.
Summary: Sacred Wars stores your profiles and progress only on your device, downloads game content from our server without sending any personal information, and collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or trackers in this beta.
